A fire breaks out in one of your facilities, a chemical is seeping onto the road. What is it? What are its effects? Who is responsible for cleaning it up? What do you tell the responding fire department?
The Geographic HAZMAT Inventory is a customized mapping product that allows you to quickly and efficiently answer these questions, and any others you may have pre-determined. In an emergency, you simply click on the appropriate building on your facilities map and information about stored hazardous materials, who is responsible for them, what their effects are, and how to deal with the situation, is instantly displayed. Any other information about the building can be included, such as contact information, the location of HAZMAT response equipment, and nearby fire hydrants.
The Geographic HAZMAT Inventory is developed using Geographical Information Systems and provided as a stand-alone application. You do not need costly GIS software or an internet connection to access the information. The map can be pre-loaded onto portable laptops, on desktops in your Emergency Operations Centre, or placed on the company intranet or tablet PCs. It is extremely easy to use and we work with you to include the information most important to your response needs.
